I can't stand the phrase "he's a decent, church going man," there's so many things wrong with it. First, it implies that all decent men go to church, second, it implies that all church going men are decent, and third, it implies that only men can be decent.
I hate that assumption, that in order for you to be a good man you have to go to church. How @#$%ed up is that? Like donations and charities. Churches steal way more money (and don't have to pay taxes), than they donate.
